FishHello neighbors!
Our Fish vendor arrived much earlier this morning than anticipated. we received about 2180 walleyes. The walleyes were so large that he could not use the fish drainage tubes on his tanks so, they were scooped out manually.
I assisted in this process and was able to closely examine the fish. They were all very healthy and they ranged in size between 5 - 11 inches. The vast majority of the fish were in the 6-8 inch range. I did find one monster that I measured at 11 inches!
All final permits have been filed with the DNR and hopefully within the next few years we should have an excellent Walleye fishery.
